Nostalgia

So today I miss my best friend. Well i didn't have a best friend till high school. I'm an extrovert but I rarely confide in anyone. I just don't trust anyone enough. So Just one best friend. And ever since we went our separate ways in high school. We've just communicated less and less. With both of us getting married, her having a kid and me moving to the US from Dubai. We just communicate less often now. But I miss her today. Its just when you have someone that gets you and they are not your husband or mother or siblings its just more fun! I mean don't get me wrong I have lots of fun with my family and I love them to death but friends are just a different breed altogether. They just get you and you let them call you on your crap without getting all defensive and then going through the whole makeup routine! I think Ill send her an email today and maybe send her a nice dress for her daughter. I mean I told her to tell her daughter that she may never meet Aunt Elle but I do send her the hippest clothing!

beer is good for hair and coffee grounds remove cellulite from your butt and thighs!

ok so you know what works better than cellulite patches. ground coffee beans! i kid you not. i bought this cheap shit bag from dun bros of grounded coffee beans and scrubed my butt and thigh in the shower with it. i felt all tingly and charged.. good pick me up.. but i did see a visible diffrence. im sure exercise with this would have good results.

also, who knew beer was good to wash your hair with. If you pour it over your head after you shampoo and before you condition. you hair is shiny and frizz free!
i was skeptical about this but it apparently works.

also, word of advice do not use black kohsh shampoo by aveda if you are a blonde it will turn your hair ash grey or a pewter color not pretty! my friend used it and now need to spend $300 to get her natural blonde hair back to blonde!

cellulite removal products

so i tried the cellulite patches... by nivea still too early to say if they work.. im using it with the goodbye cellulite cream, and nivea slim cream... im only doing this bcz i think exercise and diet will not help retain my skins elasticity.. n like most vain ppl.. i don't want to look old and haggard... i hope i look like my granny when im her age.. most ppl just tawt she was my mother!... i also tried the dove cashmere silk deodorant i use it at night bcz i read it causes you to perspire less.. i use tom's of Maine deodorant in the day as it doesn't have residue but it didn't help with the perspiration.. but using dove deodorant at night does help and its also slowly but surely making my underarms area softer and smoother..

no stain deodorant success!

i have finally found the deodorant that leaves no stains! this is black top certified, royal blue silk blouse certified, dark t-shirt certified, black bra certified and black dress certified.
Also since i live in Minnesota and it can go from 75 degrees to 20 degrees in a day this deodorant is dark green cashmere sweater certified too.

The name for this product is: natural care of Tom's deodorant.

it comes as a roll on too. but i haven't tried that yet. this comes in the following scents: Apricot, Lavender, Lemongrass, Unscented/Fragrance-Free. I am currently using the unscented one and have to say it works pretty well. other than no stains it keeps me odor free.

And i sweated like a pig yesterday and still no deodorant stains on my blouse and my pitts didnt smell at all. so it works!

I got the stick at target in the deodorant isle. let me know if anyone has tried the roll on. im going to go for the lavender stick next time.

spring is here

so spring is here and every year its basically the same makeup trend that hits the market but its in a new package. smoky eyes and nude lips.

now here's the thing if you have tan, olive or dark complexion go for brown smoky eyes and black eyeliner and a nude matte lipstick.

if however you have fair, pale or porcelain complexion opt for silver or navy smoky eyes and black eyeliner with baby pink matte lipstick.

brown smoky eyes are achieved by using these colors: dark brown, golden or copper, beige.

silver smoky eyes: grey, silver or white, beige.

navy smoky eyes: dark blue, silver or white, beige.

now how do you apply these colors to get the smoky eye effect? here's a tutorial link i found on you tube. check this out and it should be a good enough guideline. if however it is not clear i will make my own video and post it for all of you guys.

Tips by professionals to get thicker hair ASAP

Here are some tricks that the pros use to help mpodels and actresses with thin hair:

Shampoo hair with a volumizing formula; apply a conditioner for fine hair from your ears to the ends. Blot hair with a towel.

Work a volumizing spray or mousse throughout damp hair, then spritz a heat-protecting spray everywhere but the roots. Gently comb hair, starting at the ends and inching up.

Flip your head over; blow-dry hair without the nozzle on medium heat with a vent brush. When it's nearly dry, stand up and finish with a medium-size boar-bristle round brush.

Switch the dryer to cool, then lift hair with your fingers. Point the air at your roots for several seconds to build volume. Repeat all around your head, then brush the hair.

Once a week, apply a hot-oil treatment containing jojoba oil and proteins from just below the roots to the ends.

Professional Hair Stylists Tricks of Trade:
•The right haircut makes a difference. Ask your stylist for minimal layers (heavy ones can look flat), or try deep bangs.
•Condition very fine or sparse hair before shampooing -- you'll get just enough moisture without weighing hair down.
•To boost volume, set dry hair in Velcro -- not hot -- rollers for ten minutes
•Revive limp hair with dry shampoo. then massage your scalp with your fingers.

Products to consider using to get thicker hair:
•Some volumizers bulk up hair; some weigh it down and end up being counterproductive. For lightweight lift, try Fekkai Root Lifting Spray, L'Oréal Professionnel Texture Expert Mousse, or Suave Professionals Volumizing Mousse
•Heat-protecting sprays work by coating the cuticle with a lightweight silicone. Redken Hot Sets 22 Thermal Setting Mist and Tresemmé Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray won't weigh down fine hair.
•Dry shampoo makes hair look thicker. We like Big Sexy Hair Volumizing Dry Shampoo.
•A vent brush, such as the Goody Ouchless one, helps add fluffiness while you blow-dry.
•Scunci Smooth and Shine round brush, which is made with boar bristles, is gentle on fragile hair.
•Battalia by Spornette Velcro rollers add bounce but won't flatten the cuticle, as hot rollers can.

Hope this helps let me know if you have other tricks that work for you.
